Ko-fi donation alerts for Kick
Ko-fi sends alerts to Twitch and YouTube. For Kick it sends nothing, because Ko-fi has no Kick integration at all. If you stream on Kick and take donations through Ko-fi, nothing in your stream reacts when someone buys you a coffee — you find out later, in an email.
What Bot4Q does about it
Ko-fi already sends a webhook every time someone donates. Bot4Q receives that webhook and posts the donation straight into your chat — on Kick and Twitch, from the same bot that is already in the room.

How to set it up
- Your Bot4Q dashboard gives you a webhook URL. In Ko-fi, go to More → API and set your webhook URL to it.
- Copy your Ko-fi verification token from the same page and paste it into Bot4Q. That token is what proves an alert really came from Ko-fi.
- Turn Ko-fi alerts on for each channel you want them in.
- Send a test from the dashboard and watch the line land in your chat.
⚠️ Ko-fi allows one webhook URL per account. If you are already sending that webhook somewhere else, pointing it at Bot4Q will take it away from the other tool.
Why chat instead of an overlay
It is one less browser source to keep alive, and it reaches everyone — including the large share of Kick viewers watching on a phone, where an on-screen alert is small and easy to miss but chat is right there.
What it does not do
Being straight about the limits:
- It posts in chat, not as a video overlay. If you want an animation on screen you still need an overlay tool — this replaces the notification, not the graphics.
- It only knows what Ko-fi's webhook tells it. If Ko-fi does not send it, Bot4Q cannot show it.
- It does not handle Kick subscriptions or Twitch bits. Those are separate systems.
